How to stop surviving and start living ? - A simple article for those lost in boredom !




This small article is for any individual who is trying to find answers to get ride of boredom or who is possibly wondering the reason for his/her existence.

Society has the biggest impact on us and we never dare or rarely try to question or go against the society. History and impact-makers have together proved time and again that new ideas or new approaches are the basis of human existence. Think about this - What if humans never made progress ? What if we never thought of inventing travel by air ? What if mobiles would have never been discovered ? The key lies in the fact that somewhere someone has taken efforts to take the things to a next level and that's how the world is progressing. We are happy for that..but then somewhere , in this busy life which most of us live, we are not happy or we don't feel the zest or excitement in life. Multiple causes for that , but few simple solutions to apply.

1. Happiness starts with healthiness. - Your health is your most important lifetime companion.possibly more than your partner.  Take care of your health and it will take care of you.

2. Be fit - In this techno world, most of us fail to understand the importance of being fit. A small amount of time to your body in form of physical exercise (can be running, stretching exercise, yoga) can make you feel just perfect before your day starts with routine activities.

3. Go dynamic - There are some activities that we repeat often, almost 1000 times or may be more in a year. e.g. You may be always be eating food in front of TV, you may always be sleeping during your commute to office. Think about being different at times and you would enjoy the acts. e.g. Try having lunch in an open space , may or may not be with your mates. But just feel the food when you are eating. During travel, its a great way to plan things - make notes, do some googling on internet of any issue you are stuck with...Google almost assists in everything :) But the bottom line is to be dynamic. At the end of the life, you don't want to see yourself like a machine. Any activity differently done is more likely to be a memory. e.g. A 1 -day outing with office colleagues is always remembered than the 200 boring days that you spend in office working on.

4. Collaborate - Whether you are social or not, remember we have ended up being born as humans and not animals. Having said that, the biggest advantage we have is to collaborate and there is no limit to the amount of people who interact with. In today's world, we are used to talking the least with unknown people. But there are always some circumstances that help us to easily start a conversation. Or you just need to be creative enough to start a conversation. A positive conversation leads to great time spent.

5. Experience Zest- Home - Office - Home OR Home - College - Tuitions - Malls - Home. If that is what your routine is or something similar , then you are sure to get bored of daily routines. Well, we cant stop going to office !! (can we ?? [think over it :) ] ) However, good that we have weekends. Get over malls and movie theatres and try to find something that's much more exciting. May be a vacation abroad , a visit to an amusement park or a climb up the hill or trip to a nearby hill station. We all have those options to make any weekend memorable but we end up the relaxing way. Relaxing is anyways there during old-age ...so why not lead the adventure life for now ??

You are your best teacher and above points are just the smallest of points to try to get ride of a bored life and find a purpose for your life.
